Stopmotion Trailer and Poster Debut for Macabre Puppet Horror Movie

Shudder and IFC Films have unveiled a new Stopmotion trailer and poster for the upcoming puppet-centric horror movie.

Ella Blake is a stop-motion animator who is struggling to control her demons after the loss of her overbearing mother. Suddenly alone in the world, she embarks upon the creation of a macabre new puppet film, which soon becomes the battleground for her sanity. As Ella’s mind starts to fracture, the characters in her animated film take on a terrifying life of their own, and the unleashed power of her imagination threatens to destroy her.

Stopmotion is directed by Robert Morgan, who also wrote the film alongside Robin King. It stars Aisling Franciosi, Tom York, Caoilinn Springall, and Stella Gonet.

The movie was featured as part of the Fantastic Fest 2023 lineup last September.

Stopmotion will be in theaters on February 23, 2024 and head to digital platforms on March 15, 2024.
