Drama As Intruder Jumps From Hotel's Eighth Floor To Escape
A man, identified as Abdulrahim Mukhtarhim, recently jumped off the eighth floor of a building after intruding.
The man, who invaded another person’s room at a Kenyan hotel, has landed in critical condition in the hospital, after he jumped from the eighth floor to escape being caught.
According to Kenya’s The Star on Thursday, police are investigating the incident involving the 40-year-old suspect.
It was reported that Mukhtarhim jumped off as he tried to escape from a room he had entered and landed on the roof of a nearby building sustaining serious injuries.
Police said the victim booked a room at Salehe Hotel along Koinange Street on Tuesday. He was booked in room 802 of the hotel. On Wednesday evening about 6:00 p.m., he allegedly intruded into room 805 whose occupant was away in the next room.
As the suspect was still in room 805, the owner came back and found it locked from the inside. To escape, Mukhtarhim jumped off and landed on the nearby building.
No motive has been established for now but the victim is in critical condition at the Kenyatta National Hospital. Nothing was also reported missing from the room.
