A peacemaker has gotten more than he could chew after his ear was chopped off while trying to separate a fight at a birthday party in Abia state.

Writing on Facebook about the incident, Iroegbu Emenike wrote: "#HAPPENED_AT_AHABA_IMENYI
BIRTHDAY PARTY TURN BLOODY, EAR CHOPPED OFF.

"My attention was drawn to an incident that happened during a birthday party at Ahaba Imenyi in Isuikwuato Local Government Area over the weekend.

"I gathered that trouble started after the event that led to a fight. The funny thing is that, the man whose ear was chopped off only came to separate the fight."
