Tambuwal holds private meeting with Obasanjo
The Deeper Christian Life Ministry has formerly launched a World-wide Evangelical Outreach, Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK).

The global outreach debuted last year in Abuja and is said to have reached more than 150 countries with a monthly average physical audience of 40,000 to 150,000 and virtual audience of over three million people globally.

Some of the dignitaries at the event include Obasanjo, former Zambia President, Nevers Mumba; Judge of the High Court, Lagos, Justice Mojisola Dada and Judge of the Federal High Court, Lagos, Justice Daniel Osiagor.

As part of activities for the outreach, the convener of the event, Pastor William Kumuyi, unveiled two books for the outreach titled: “The voyage to Liberation and The Minister Shown Approved.”

Kumuyi said he would be visiting Liberia, Togo, Ghana and the United States (U.S.) for the global outreach, adding that the drive to commence the GCK was borne out of the mission and mandate of Jesus Christ to proclaim the gospel, and bringing reprieve and solace to the world, which has been gripped with unresolved crisis.

Obasanjo, in his goodwill message virtually, appreciated the clergy for his consistency in evangelising the gospel and changing lives, while Mumba said that being a close friend of Kumuyi, he had worked with the church and seen how the ministry impacted thousands of lives globally.

ALSO, the Rivers State Overseer of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Andrew Osagie, has described the GCK as global phenomena, which is different from other crusades.

Osagie, who monitored the launch of the GCK virtually from Port Harcourt, with other senior pastors of the ministry and the media, said it is a multi-dimensional programme that would give room for feedbacks and make uncommon impacts globally.

MEANWHILE, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, yesterday, visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo to discuss national issues.

The meeting, which held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Penthouse residence of the former President, was behind closed doors.

A statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, stated that Tambuwal arrived at about 1.30 p.m. with some of his key aides and went straight into the meeting with the former President.

The duo, according to him, came out at about 2.40 p.m. and briefly he hinted that the meeting was on national issues.

Akinyemi said Tambuwal later took his lunch with his entourage and headed for the mosque inside OOPL to observe Salat (prayers) before leaving the complex.
