Spiderhead Clip Shows Chris Hemsworth Manipulating Emotions
Netflix has released a sneak peek clip from Spiderhead, a forthcoming psychological thriller that will be available for streaming starting on Friday, June 17.

Check out the Spiderhead clip below:
Spiderhead is directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) from a screenplay written by Deadpool scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. It stars Hemsworth (Thor: Love and Thunder), Miles Teller (The Offer), Jurnee Smollett (Birds of Prey), Tess Haubrich (Alien: Covenant), BeBe Bettencourt (The Dry), and more.
“In a state-of-the-art penitentiary run by brilliant visionary Steve Abnesti, inmates wear a surgically attached device that administers dosages of mind-altering drugs in exchange for commuted sentences. There are no bars, no cells, or orange jumpsuits,” says the synopsis. “In Spiderhead, incarcerated volunteers are free to be themselves. Until they’re not. At times, they’re a better version. Need to lighten up? There’s a drug for that. At a loss for words? There’s a drug for that, too. But when two subjects, Jeff and Lizzy, form a connection, their path to redemption take a twistier turn, as Abnesti’s experiments start to push the limits of free will altogether.”
The film is produced by Eric Newman for Screen Arcade through Newman’s first-look deal at Netflix, along with Hemsworth. Producers also include Oren Katzeff and Geneva Wasserman for The New Yorker Studios alongside Reese, Wernick, Tommy Harper, and Jeremy Steckler.
