Chelsea defender Rudiger agrees Real Madrid terms; announcement delayed
Chelsea defender Toni Rudiger has agreed terms with Real Madrid.
Off contract in June, it was announced last month by Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel that Rudiger will leave this summer.
AS says Rudiger has since agreed personal terms with Real Madrid over a contract.
No announcement regarding the agreement will be made, however, until Real Madrid's season is over.
That could happen on the weekend of May 21 and 22, when Real Madrid has scheduled its last league match, against Betis at the Bernabéu. Chelsea also ends its season on Sunday the 22nd.
If Real reached the Champions League final, the end of the campaign would be moved to May 28.
