Osun 2022: Nigerians now regret voting APC into power, says PDP aspirant
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun state, Prince Dotun Babayemi, has said all the aspirants that have shown interest in the 2022 governorship ticket of the party are good enough.
Babayemi however rated himself as having the experience for the job of governing the state.
Speaking on a radio programme monitored on Rave FM in Osogbo on Monday, Babayemi, said Nigerians were already regretting voting All Progressives Congress going by the hardship they are experiencing.
He insisted that the West Senatorial District has been marginalised, saying while Osun Central has governed the state for over 15 years, West Senatorial had only occupied the post for less than two years.
He said, “I believe that the PDP aspirants have the wherewithal to govern the state and I have the experience to take the state to the next level of socio-economic development.
“Nigerians are already regretting voting APC into power as prices of food items including sachet water have increased by over 100 per cent.
“Today, the mere promise by APC to stabilise naira to dollar value has not been met, it is even worse.”
