Sai Masu Gida are set to face off with South African giants, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs in an invitational tournament

Kano Pillars chairman, Kabiru Baita has confirmed that the club will participate in the Amanxamalala Mzanzi International Cup in August.

The invitational tournament in South Africa is expected to feature Spanish La Liga outfit, Espanyol, South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.

Baita informed Goal that Kano Pillars will honour the invitation, but he'll disclose benefits for participation when talks are through.

"We shall be participating in the Amanxamalala Mzanzi International Cup (AMIC ) from August 10- 15, 2016. It's an opportunity for the Kano Pillars brand on a different platform. As regards the benefit for participating teams, talks have not been concluded yet so I'd rather wait till when talks have been confirmed before I talk about what the benefits for participating are," Baita told Goal.

"We are expected to play two matches between August 10 and 15th and since there won't be matches in the domestic league while the NPFL All Stars are on a tour of Spain it will be a good opportunity for the team."

The charity tournament identifies with a number of charity organisations in South Africa.
