Yoruba Actress, Funke Adesiyan Wins PDP Primary Election

Information reaching us on the primaries of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP)held in Oyo State saw a top actress in the Yoruba movie industry emerge as winner.

The light-skinned script interpreter contested in the Oyo State House of Assembly primaries under PDP and won.

She has thus followed in the footsteps of Desmond Elliot, an actor, who won the APC primary for the Lagos House of Assembly.

Recall that some celebrities declared interests in politics and partook in their party primaries. The likes of KSB, Kate Henshaw, D1, 9ice all did not grab tickets of their parties.
