Nigeria at 56: Independence not worth celebrating, improve power sector – Deltans tells Buhari
Some Deltans have stated that Nigeria’s 56th Independence anniversary is not worth celebrating.

Mr. Derick Atigbiolaye, a photo-printer told DAILY POST that the 56th anniversary is not worth celebrating because Nigerians were suffering and currently living below expectations.
Mr. Atigbiolaye also noted that power outage was seriously affecting his business thereby making life unbearable for him.
In his words, “I don’t think it is worth celebrating because the country is not moving forward. The way the country is going is not the best. People are? suffering, things are not going well. I think the President should
try to make things easy for the poor, not the rich.”
Mr. Samuel. O. Abu, a tailor, said he had no reason to celebrate due to the current economic situation.
According to Mr. Abu, “With the situation we are passing through now, I don’t have any reason for celebration. My only celebration is to thank God that I am still alive and he is keeping us.”
Blessing Ezebri, an unemployed graduate, lamented that the country was not doing anything to help him and for that he was not celebrating the independence.
“Nigeria is not doing anything for me. I am not celebrating. Things are hard and we can’t eat. So, why should I celebrate?” He queried.
