Justin Bieber Sets New Billboard Records With Album ‘Swag’

Canadian pop icon Justin Bieber has broken several records on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts following the release of his latest album, Swag, according to Waploaded.

The project, which marks his seventh studio album, was inspired by his recent journey into fatherhood. The cover art features a family portrait with Bieber, his wife Hailey, and their newborn son, Jack Blues.

Swag made a strong impact on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, with 16 tracks landing on the chart. Its lead single, Daisies, entered at number 2. This achievement pushed Bieber past Chris Brown, giving him the highest number of Hot 100 entries by a male artist, with a total of 121 songs.

Daisies also became his 27th song to reach the Hot 100’s top 10, tying him with Janet Jackson as the 10th artist with the most top 10 hits in the chart’s history.

In addition, Bieber made history by becoming the first artist to debut at number 2 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 at the same time. While Daisies entered at number 2 on the Hot 100, the album Swag also debuted in the same position on the Billboard 200.

In other chart news, Teddy Swims’ hit Lose Control has become the first song ever to spend 100 consecutive weeks on the Hot 100. The track, which previously peaked at number 1, remains in the top 10.
